Labs data

This page describes what data you visualise in VA HUB and describes some key things to note when mapping Labs data.

As with AE data the Labs view also has mandatory and non-mandatory data fields to populate These must be mapped to the correct source data file column

The data visualised in the Labs view in VA HUB will be dependent upon the data which has been mapped into ADMIN UI

The Labs view in VA HUB will only be visible if the non-mandatory field Laboratory value field is populated – although marked as a non-mandatory field in ADMIN UI it must be populated to generate the Labs view

If data for Liver function enzymes, bilirubin, AST and ALT is loaded into ADMIN UI with relative reference ranges, then in addition to the Labs view the Liver function view, which displays a Hy's Law plot will also be available in VA HUB

If data for Creatinine with relative reference ranges, in addition to demographics (age, sex, race) and weight is loaded into ADMIN UI then in addition to the Labs view the Renal function view, which displays creatinine clearance and CKD distribution plots will also be available in VA HUB

Date of Measurement field – this field should be populated with the date the analysis was performed

Aggregation functions: the appropriate date format which represents the date format in the source data file must be selected

Reference ranges and Test units fields are non-mandatory fields however, to make the lab data more meaningful in the plots it is recommended that these fields are populated

Multiple Labs data files can be uploaded for each type of analysis performed or a single file containing all the data can be loaded
