User access

A user needs to be granted access to REACT before they can access any studies within the system. The access granted will be dependent upon the role the user will have within the system.

User roles and access permissions for REACT should be agreed within the team and documented from a data governance perspective

Before users can be added to the system the relevant infrastructure, usually an Azure environment, should be in place

This will allow Azure identities to be created and access to Azure enterprise applications to be granted

Dependent upon the role the user is to undertake in REACT, access to each of the relevant Azure enterprise applications of REACT (VA HUB, ADMIN UI, VA Security) will need to be granted in Azure

Once a user has an Azure identity this needs to be associated with the user e-mail address

The e-mail address associated with the user can then be used to add a new user to REACT

This section will show you how to:

  • Add new users to REACT

  • Grant access to drug programmes and datasets

  • Control views that a user can access within the data visualisation component, VA HUB
