Controlling views in VA HUB

When a user is granted access permissions to a drug programme or dataset within REACT, they are granted access to a REACT Package.

A REACT Package is a set of data types, graphs and analysis options that may be set up in REACT, it dictates the views available to a user in VA HUB.

The REACT Package available to a user will be dependent upon a user’s role and access permissions to data. It is advised that user roles and access to study data should be agreed within the team and documented from a data governance perspective

There are two REACT Packages available, Base and Oncology. A user can be granted access to either or both packages by a Global Administrator

The data available in each package dictates the views available to a user in VA HUB. It should be noted that the Population summary, Timeline, Single subject, and Cohort editor view are standard views available for both packages if mandatory patient data has been loaded into REACT

The Base Package is the default REACT Package when a user (trained / authorised) is granted access to a drug programme or dataset

The Base Package does not grant access to the RECIST data within the system. This means that when a user accesses a specific dataset within VA HUB the Tumour Response view is not available in the view menu

Oncology package permissions must be granted for a user to have access to the RECIST data and visibility of the Tumour Response view in VA HUB

Oncology Package permissions can be granted at both the drug programme and dataset level

A Global Administrator has access to both the Base and Oncology package views
